As of Sep. 25, the City of Thibodaux found a leak in the main water line that supplies water to Talbot Hall.
According to Danielle Breaux, Director of Facilities and Project Management, the City tried to make the repair but was unable to do so.
They have reached out to a local plumber for help who is expected to be on campus first thing in the morning on Sep. 26 to complete the repair work.
“There was an attempt to restore water in Talbot Hall, but due to the severity of the leak, it was unsuccessful,” said Breaux.
As soon as the repair is complete, water service will be restored to Talbot Hall.
