At least eight people, four of which were minors, were reported injured in a crash at a bus stop on Talbot Avenue near Winder Road yesterday around 4 p.m.
According to Fox 8 coverage, Sheriff Craig Weber said the incident involved a gold car which struck a silver car from behind. The gold car went airborne and reportedly hit two Lafourche parish middle school children as they walked to their apartments from their school bus.
Medics flew both children to a hospital in New Orleans according to deputies.
The exact time of the crash has not been reported nor have any arrests.

State police have taken over the investigation though office representatives were unavailable for further questioning as of early this morning.
