Let me begin by apologizing for the delay in sending this letter.  This should have been sent last October to acknowledge the work performed by Sigma Alpha Epsilon.  In late August last year, Mr. Ben Jones, Jr., President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, approached me with an offer to perform work as a service project for the fraternity.  Needing help to complete a couple of projects, I gladly accepted their offer and assigned them the task of re-painting the Century Club Room at Guidry Stadium.  These young men showed up early on a Saturday morning (a tough task for any college student) and completed the room in less than one day.  Sigma Alpha Epsilon also re-painted the retaining wall around the library.  They did a great job with both projects.  On behalf of all of us who serve in Maintenance and Physical Plant Operations, I extend my deepest thanks and appreciation to Ben Jones, Jr. and the young men of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  Thank you for caring so much about your University!
