The Colonels defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 59-43 on Saturday then traveled south to face The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley on Monday, defeating the Vaqueros 58-50.

The focal point of the wins was stellar defensive performances, but Elli Garnett found a way to shine on offense, scoring in double figures on consecutive nights for the second time this season.
The Colonels return home on Thursday to face Houston Christian University.
The Colonels remain home on Saturday, hosting McNeese State University to close the week.
