Nicholls State University confirmed that former Nicholls men’s basketball player Doctor Bradley “is no longer a member of the team,” according to Sports Information Director Jamie Bustos.
The news comes less than 24 hours after Bradley was charged with 13 felonies in the New Mexico 3rd District Court, according to court records.
The felonies include five counts of False Imprisonment, five counts of Criminal Sexual Contact in the Fourth Degree, one count of Criminal Sexual Penetration, one count of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Sexual Contact in the Fourth Degree, and one count of False Imprisonment – Conspiracy.
The felony charges stem from hazing incidents at Bradley’s former school, New Mexico State University, during the 2022-23 basketball season (see Nicholls basketball player found responsible for multiple Title IX violations, KTSM reports.)
These charges come one day after Jerad David, Nicholls’ director of communications, confirmed that Bradley was suspended from all team activities (see Nicholls basketball transfer suspended indefinitely.)
The Nicholls Worth is awaiting comment from the university and basketball team.
