After constantly moving across the United States, Brittany Chiasson, freshman from Napoleonville has made Louisiana her home sweet home.
Chiasson has been moving around since she was a little girl due to her father being in the military.
“I was born in Germany and then I lived in Texas for about three years before I started pre-k,” Chiasson said. “I lived in Georgia before that, but I vaguely remember all of this.”
After living in and moving to so many places, Chiasson now resides in Napoleonville, and commutes to Nicholls every day.
“Thibodaux is like my home away from home,” Chiasson said. “Most of my family is from Thibodaux, and I’ve made many friends from going to the Thibodaux Family Church.”
Chiasson said that both of her parents graduated from nicholls.
“It pretty much seemed like a no brainer to attend school here,” said Chiasson.
