Nicholls State University announced the arrest of the account holder for the “Nicholls Pisser” TikTok on Wednesday, but their identity remains anonymous.
Three more students are facing disciplinary action for creating and posting on TikTok accounts named “Nicholls Pisser”.
The university was internally tipped off regarding the trend when staff members came across the content on their social media feed.
Jerad David, Nicholls’ director of communications and legislative affairs, said his daughter shared the TikTok videos with David to make him aware of the accounts.
Initially, the university assumed these videos contained footage of public urination. David explained that this act alone is against the law. Additionally, posting crude or lewd content for the purpose of gaining notoriety can lead to a state charge.
However, campus security footage uncovered that these videos were created using squirt water bottles to mimic the action of urination.
The university found four “Nicholls Pisser” TikTok accounts, and University Police were able to identify each account holder.
Though one account holder received charges for terrorizing due to the content of a post that had a “threatening tone”, which David said merited legal action.

The post David referred to featured a video of the “Nicholls Pisser” walking through the student union, filming students seated at the tables.
“I walk amongst you. No one is safe,” the caption read.
In an interview with KNSU TV, Attorney Damon J. Baldone said three criteria must be met for an act to be legally considered terrorizing.
Baldone said there must be intentional communication.
The content of the communication must incite terror, and the intent of the communication will also be taken into account, according to Baldone.
“That video causes me a lot of concern,” Baldone said. “It gives more grounds to be charged with terrorizing.”
David said that some members of the university thought they were in danger.
“The post, outside of the context of this trend, seemed very threatening considering the events of that day and the days before,” David said.
On the day the video was posted, a shooting occurred at Evergreen High School in Denver, Colo. The shooter injured two students before taking his own life.
Charlie Kirk, a Republican political activist, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University during a public debate on Wednesday.
“There was a heightened sense of alertness within the campus community,” David said. “Some people were thinking they were in danger.”
David said the four account holders are facing individual disciplinary action in accordance with “university values” and the Code of Conduct.
The consequences were not disclosed due to the protective laws of FERPA.
“We want people to behave in a civil manner,” David said. “Urinating on things or even pretending to do so is not the way we want to be seen in the community.”
