THIBODAUX, La. — Grayson Rogers is a junior at Nicholls, majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. He is enthusiastic to be coming on board as a staff writer for The Nicholls Worth this fall.

Rogers is eager to jump headfirst into journalism and reporting, and he said he looks forward to seeing his first byline next week. A strength he plans to carry into his writing is his passion for thorough research.

He hopes to use his writing to generate excitement and engagement for The Nicholls Worth. Readers can look forward to him covering topics such as politics and Greek Life with a dash of history. 

“My love of politics stemmed from my love of history,” Rogers said. “It made me want to learn more about what made certain events significant.”
