THIBODAUX, LA — The Thibodaux Lion’s Club is adding two games to its annual high school All-Star Basketball Shootout on March 29 at Thibodaux High School, according to a press release from the Sports Medicine Center of Thibodaux Regional.
The Fourteenth annual Luke Ford Jr, All-Star Basketball Shootout is set to add a middle school boy’s and girl’s all-star basketball game, featuring students from Lafourche and Assumption parishes taking on students from Terrebonne parish.
The girl’s game is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the boy’s game to follow at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets for the games and 3-point contest cost $10 and can be purchased at the gate.
Biddy basketball players and recreation league players wearing a league shirt will get in for free.
Earnings from ticket sales will go to college scholarships and Thibodaux Lion’s Club’s charitable causes.
