The streaming service Netflix has become extremely successful over the past few years. Part of this success is a direct result of the constant new content flowing into the streaming platform for viewer’s pleasure. With that being said, here are some of the top shows and movies hitting the streaming service in April 2022. 

April 15 – Anatomy of a Scandal (Series)

Sophie’s privileged life as the wife of powerful politician James unravels when scandalous secrets surface—and he stands accused of a shocking crime. 

April 15 – Choose or Die (Film)

Tempted by a chance to win unacclaimed prize money, two friends reboot a mysterious 1980s video game and step into a surreal world of next-level terror.

White Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch (Film)

All the cool kids were wearing it. This documentary explores A&F’s pop culture reign in the late ‘90s and  early 2000s, and how it thrived on exclusion.

April 20 – Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes (Series)

He dined with the powerful. He preyed on the vulnerable. Beneath a smiling exterior was the horrifying darkness of a sadistic serial killer.

April 22 – Heartstopper (Series)

Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love in this coming-of-age series. 

April 22 – Selling Sunset Season 5 (Series)

This reality series set in Los Angeles features agents working in the luxury real estate market. 

April 27 – 365 Days: This Day (Film)

Laura and Massimo are back and stronger than ever, but Massimo’s family ties, and a mysterious man bidding for Laura’s heart, complicate the lovers’ lives. 

April 27 – The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes (Film)

This documentary explores the mystery surrounding the death of movie icon Marilyn Monroe through previously unheard interviews with her inner circle. 

April 29 – Season 4 Part 2 Ozark (Series)

This gritty and acclaimed series has won three Primetime Emmys, including two for Julia Garner as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
