Nicholls State University’s Communications Director Jared David sent out an email to students stating all classes will be moved online for Feb 19.
The email said this is due to the potential threat of roadway and bridge icing overnight.
It also stated that any student who can travel back to campus safely may do so as university services will be open.
The email said all sports events will continue as scheduled including the home football game opener Friday night.
David encouraged everyone to use caution while traveling and to follow the direction of local law enforcement.
