NFL Week 14: Two More Teams Clinch Playoff Spots

Week 14 of the National Football League ended with two more teams clinching their spots in this season’s playoffs. 

The week began with a Thursday night football matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots. The Rams defeated the Patriots 24-3.

Sunday, in an American Football Conference South rivalry game, the Tennessee Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-10. In a National Football Conference North rivalry game, the Green Bay Packers won against the Detroit Lions 31-24. 

The Tampa Bay Buccanneers beat the Minnesota Vikings 26-14. The Kansas City Chiefs won their game against the Miami Dolphins 33-27. The Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 32-27. The Chicago Bears defeated the Houston Texans 36-7. 

The Arizona Cardinals beat the New York Giants 26-7. The Cowboys defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 30-7. The Indianapolis Colts won their game against the Las Vegas Raiders 44-27. 

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New York Jets 40-3. The Los Angeles Chargers won their game against the Atlanta Falcons 20-17. The Washington Football Team won their game against the San Francisco 49ers 23-15. 

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New Orleans Saints 24-21. After having had their win streak end last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers went on to lose again this week 24-15 against the Buffalo Bills. 

In a Monday night AFC North matchup, the Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns 47-42. 

After this week the Packers and the Steelers join the Saints and the Chiefs as four teams who have clinched their spots in the playoffs this season. 

NFC divisional leaders include from the East, Washington (6-7); from the West, the Rams (9-4); from the North, the Packers (10-3), who have clinched their first place divisional spot; from the South, the Saints (10-3). 

AFC divisional leaders include from the East, the Bills (10-3); from the West, the Chiefs (12-1), who have clinched their first place divisional spot; from the North, the Steelers (11-2); from the South, the Titans (9-4). 

Week 15 begins with an AFC West matchup, Thursday, between the Chargers (4-9) and the Raiders (7-6).
