Driving to campus can become a challenge for many students who are only aware of one or two routes to campus. Congested traffic build-up can cause students to be late to class, or even worse, miss class. With some help from the Thibodaux Police Dept., The Nicholls Worth has compiled a few alternate routes to campus. Because there may be hundreds of routes through the smaller streets around campus, we connected the routes from the major highways or well-known roads. Here’s a look at the routes: From Houma:

Turn La. 311 toward Thibodaux, turn right on La. 3185, then turn left on La. 24. Turn right at La. 648, then left on Audubon Drive Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn La. 311 toward Thibodaux, turn right on La. 20, then turn left at La. 24 intersection. Turn right at La. 648, then left on Audubon Drive Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn La. 24 West toward Thibodaux, turn right at La. 648, then left on Audubon. Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn La. 24 West toward Thibodaux, turn right at Pecan Street, then left on Audubon. Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn La. 24 West toward Thibodaux, turn right at Pecan Street, left on Bowie and then right on Ardoyne Drive. Go straight until Nicholls area.

From Raceland, Lockport and Mathews:

Turn La. 308 West toward Thibodaux, turn left at Audubon Drive to Nicholls area

Turn La. 1 West toward Thibodaux, turn left on Acadia Drive to Nicholls area.

Turn La. 308 West toward Thibodaux, turn left at La. 648, turn right on Ardoyne Drive to Nicholls area

Turn La. 1 West toward Thibodaux, turn left at La. 648, turn right on Ardoyne Drive to Nicholls area.

Morgan City, Berwick, Bayou Vista:

Turn La. 182 until La. 20, stay straight on La. 20. Turn left at La. 24 intersection, turn right on La. 648, then left on Audubon. Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn La. 182 until La. 20, stay straight on La. 20. Turn left at La. 24 intersection, turn right at Pecan Street, left on Bowie and then right on Ardoyne Drive. Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn La. 182 until La. 20, stay straight on La. 20. Turn left at La. 24 intersection, turn right at Pecan Street, then left on Audubon. Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn U.S. 90 East, turn left on La. 311 toward Thibodaux, turn right on La. 3185, then turn left on La. 24, turn right at La. 648, then left on Audubon Drive Go straight until Nicholls area.

Turn U.S. 90 East, turn La. 311 toward Thibodaux, turn right on La. 20, then turn left at La. 24 intersection, turn right at La. 648, then left on Audubon Drive Go straight until Nicholls area.

West, Central Thibodaux:

Turn La. 308 East until Audubon Drive, turn right in the Nicholls area.

Turn La. 1 East until Audubon Drive or Acadia Drive, turn right in the Nicholls area.

Turn La. 308 east, turn right on Jackson Street, turn left on 5th Street, go straight until Menard Drive, keep straight until Audubon Drive to the Nicholls area.

Turn La. 1 east, turn right on Jackson Street, turn left on 5th Street, go straight until Menard Drive, keep straight until Audubon Drive to the Nicholls area.

Turn La. 308 east, turn right on Canal Street, turn left on 5th Street, go straight until Menard Drive, keep straight until Audubon Drive to the Nicholls area.

Turn La. 1 east, turn right on Canal Street, turn left on 5th Street, go straight until Menard Drive, keep straight until Audubon Drive to the Nicholls area.

Turn La. 1 east, turn right on La. 3185, turn left on La. 24, turn right on La. 648, then left on Audubon Drive Go straight until Nicholls area.
