The SGA Campus Improvements Committee performed a safety walk on April 9. The objective was to find and record any thing on campus that would pose a possible safety risk.These safety walks are conducted unofficially several times a semester. At the end of the semester a list is complied then prioritized. The prioritized list is given to the assistant vice president of business affairs/procedure/plant operations, Mike Davis. He will then handle the risks as he sees necessary.
Cracks in the pavement, untrimmed trees and shrubs, missing street signs and wheelchair inaccessibility were some of the safety risks observed on the walk.
