The TikTok account holder for “Nicholls Pisser” was arrested today after an investigation conducted by University Police.
Nicholls has not disclosed the individual’s identity.
According to Jerad David, Nicholls’ director of communications and legislative affairs, a series of social media posts spread that were based on a popular TikTok trend conducted on college campuses.
The trend involves students filming themselves urinating on campus property—often landmarks, statues or even stairwells.
“Nicholls State University does not tolerate such behavior and expects our campus community to uphold the University values,” David said.
David said that while the campus community was under no threat, there are “consequences to the behavior demonstrated in the post.” The consequences enforced by the university were not specified.
However, David said the individual will face charges for violating state law and city ordinance.
The trend has spread to multiple universities across the nation, including Louisiana State University.
WAFB9 interviewed LSU students about their opinions regarding the trend.
The Reveille has not yet published information concerning the identity of the “LSU Pisser” nor related campus investigations.
