Summer book reccomendation: “The Housemaid” Series by Freida McFadden

The semester is almost over and summer break will soon be upon us. If you’re anything like me, this is the perfect time to get in some good book reads.

I recently just finished a book series called, “The Housemaid” by Freida McFadden. This is a series that’ll definitely keep you glued this summer.

This series consists of “The Housemaid,” “The Housemaid’s Secret,” and “The Housemaid is Watching.” They are psychological thriller books that follow the main protagonist, Millie.

“The Housemaid,” follows Millie, a recent parolee who takes the job as a housemaid for the wealthy Winchester family. While working there, tensions rise and Mille uncovers a web of secrets.

In “The Housemaid’s Secret,” Millie is now working for a wealthy couple, the Garricks. Millie suspects something is wrong when Wendy, the wife, is confined to a bedroom and appears to be a victim of abuse. As Millie attempts to help Wendy, she uncovers yet another web of secrets.

In the third book of the series, “The Housemaid is Watching,” it has now been some years since the events of the first two books. Millie is now married with a family. They’ve recently moved into a new neighborhood. Although they just moved into their dream house, their neighbors are quite strange, leading to some unexpected events that put her family in jeopardy.

I hope you give this series a read. I enjoyed the turns and twists of each story. I even finished the first two books in one week. It definitely keeps you on your toes and wanting to see what Millie does next.
