Crews will begin work on improving the drainage system at Nicholls State University on Bowie Rd. starting Monday.
Nicholls’ Director of Facilities Services and Project Management, Danielle Breaux, said the improvements include: new culverts and the covering of some ditches.
Improvements will begin at the intersection of Ardoyne Dr. to La. Highway One.
Breaux added that traffic disruptions are expected to be minimal but drivers should be aware of flagpersons, signs and cones along Bowie Rd.
