Nicholls’ Student Government Association announced the finalists for Mr. and Ms. Nicholls on Tuesday.

The finalists for Mr. Nicholls are Jax Badeaux, Eli Servat and Collin St. Germain.

The finalists for Ms. Nicholls are Alaina Ashmun, Myra Berthiaume and Sally Leblanc (spotlights on each finalist are coming soon).

“Students selected as finalists must exhibit qualities such as leadership, scholarship, good character, a respect for diversity, loyalty to Nicholls, true Colonel Pride and effective communication skills,” according to the Mr. and Ms. Nicholls page on the Nicholls State University website.

The site adds that Mr. and Ms. Nicholls are expected to be “positive representatives” of Nicholls.

SGA’s announcement post states, “These individuals displayed the highest levels of co-curricular and academic achievement in the undergraduate and graduate levels.”

Student voting for Mr. and Ms. Nicholls begins on March 18 and goes through March 20.

The winners will be announced three weeks after voting closes at Crawfish Day on April 10.
