Nicholls State University will have another day full of rain.
As students, faculty and staff make their way to the campus, they should be wary of the road conditions. Thibodaux has a fog watch issued until 9 a.m.
WBRZ says that Thibodaux should expect storms to hit at 9 a.m. and last until late afternoon. Thibodaux is under a flood watch until 6 p.m.
At this current time, these roads are closed in Thibodaux, as stated in a report posted by Thibodaux Police Department:
- St. Charles Street – (From Canal Boulevard/LA 20 to East 7th Street)
- 1300 Block of Canal Boulevard – (Affecting only the right lane)
- West 7th Street – (Harrison Street to Jackson Street/LA 20)
- East 7th Street – (At the intersection of Narrow Street)
- Eagle Drive – (Both Portions)
From Louisiana State Police:
- LA Highway 20 northbound (Canal Blvd) at the intersection of LA Highway 648 (Percy Brown Rd) and Duplantis Street is closed due to high water. Traffic traveling north can turn left onto Duplantis Street or right onto LA Highway 648
These roads are closed in Houma as reported by @Houma_Traffic on X:
- LA 20 West (West Park Avenue) remains closed at LA 648 (Percy Brown Road) (Schriever) due to high water.
