COVID-19 cases reported in the Nicholls State community
On Sept. 1, the President’s Office reported a possible cluster of cases in the campus community of Nicholls State University, following an off-campus party.
As of Sept. 7, 14 people who attended were exposed to the virus and six people tested positive .
According to the Nicholls COVID-19 dashboard, ten positive COVID-19 cases have been reported between Aug. 22-28, nine cases in the student population and one from faculty.
Since March, 60 cases of COVID-19 have been reported from current students and faculty.
