Men’s Basketball Defeats Spring Hill

The Colonels won 85-65 over the Spring Hill College Badgers Nov. 28 at Stopher Gym.

Nicholls trailed 39-35 at the half but outscored Spring Hill 50-26 in the second half to pull off the win.

The Colonels (5-4) play again Dec. 15 at noon against the Boston University Terriers.

Women’s Basketball Wins Fourth Straight Game

The Colonels trounced the Southern University at New Orleans Knights 86-49 Nov. 28 at Stopher Gym.

They followed it up with a 72-47 home win over the Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils this past Saturday.

The Colonels (4-4) have won four straight contests and are back in action Tuesday at 7 p.m. in New Orleans against the Tulane University Green Wave.

Football Ends Season at EWU

The Colonels ended their season this past Saturday with a 42-21 loss to the Eastern Washington University Eagles.

Nicholls led 14-3 in the second quarter, but Eastern Washington scored 39 unanswered points to possess a commanding 42-14 lead in the fourth quarter.
