SPA Comedy Night will feature comedian Brandi Denise

The Student Programming Association will host a comedy night featuring standup comedian Brandi Denise on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 8:00 p.m. in Le Bijou Theater.

Brandi Denise is a comedian, actress and writer whose comedy, according to her website, can be described as “honest, witty and refreshing with huge bursts of energy.”

Denise performs all over the country and has sold out three runs of “I’m not crazy, I just love hard,” a show she has written and produced herself.

Grace Lacour, SPA entertainment chair, said admission is free to all students.

Lacour encourages students to attend to relieve some beginning-of-the-semester stress.

“You can bring friends to laugh with. I feel like if you see something funny, you and your friends normally talk about it for a while after,” Lacour said.
