The University released a statement about the threatening message students received via Facebook Wednesday. A University Police investigation has determined that the message was not created using a University computer or account.
According to the University’s response, University Police is working with Facebook and the state attorney general’s office to determine the message’s origin.
The University Emergency Review and Response Team also investigated the message and determined that it was sent to a group of students based on their political views.
