The Student Government Association Senate approved two motions at the Nov. 2 meeting in the Plantation Suite of the Donald G. Bollinger Memorial Student Union at 4:30 p.m.The first motion established a Free Speech Alley on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A table, informing students about the book and car pool co-op, will be placed next to the Free Speech Alley podium.
The second motion established the Third Annual SGA 5K Community Walk/Run on Saturday, March 25. All proceeds will benefit the SGA Disability Accessibility Fund and the United Way of South Louisiana.
The final SGA Senate meeting of the semester is Nov. 16 at 4:30 p.m. in the Plantation Suite of the student union.
