Tramera Lee, business and marketing sophomore, from Boutte, is a student by day and a Honeybee by night.
After graduation, Lee plans to put her degree to use by opening her own business.
“I chose my major because one day I wish to open my own business, although I’m still unsure about what I want to open,” Lee said.
While Lee is pursuing her degree here at Nicholls, she is also living out her childhood dream of dancing. Lee has been dancing since she was two years old across the nation, including dancing on Broadway in New York City.
Lee’s hard work and dedication to dancing has taken her to new heights in the world of dancing. Currently, Lee is a proud member of the New Orleans Honeybees dance team.
Lee described her Honeybee tryout experience as hard and time consuming. She said her emotions “were going crazy because you never know what the judges are looking for during the different processes.”
“We started with preliminaries that had two rounds,” she said. “The first round just narrowed it down to less girls, and the second round determined finalists. After the finalists were formed, there was a lot of prep work to go into the final show that was held at the House of Blues.”
