2019 Mr. and Ms. Nicholls announced at Crawfish Day

Hayden Robichaux and Emily Ledet were announced as Mr. and Ms. Nicholls at Crawfish Day on April 12.

Jay Clune, Nicholls president, and Allison Clune, first lady, were present on stage for the announcement of the winners, along with Mr. Nicholls 2018, Daniel Frias, and Ms. Nicholls 2018, Chelsea Jackson.

The finalists for Mr. Nicholls were brought onto the stage and introduced first in alphabetical order: Cameron Belding, nominated by Sigma Alpha Epsilon; Beau Bourgeois, nominated by Nicholls Association of Student Nurses; Keilan Kiger, nominated by Phi Mu; Ruston Poche’, nominated by Circle K; Robichaux, nominated by Delta Zeta; Austin Wendt, nominated by Kappa Sigma; and Brock Williams, nominated by Gamma Phi Beta.

The finalists for Ms. Nicholls were Emma Bourgeois, nominated by Circle K; Lauren Constant, nominated by Sigma Sigma Sigma; Sadie Hebert, nominated by the Student Government Association; Ledet, nominated by Delta Zeta; Quynhlynnette Nguyen, nominated by Student Programming Association; and Danielle Tardo, nominated by Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

“Growing up in Thibodaux, Nicholls State has always been a part of my life, and attending that university was never a question. Therefore, having the opportunity to represent our school alongside so many deserving peers is an experience that I am deeply humbled by and will never forget,” Ledet said.
