Since middle school, texting has been a big part of our social lives. Being able to hold conversation without the hassle of actually talking to someone on the phone is a major key for teens everywhere. Texting, however, can get monotonous at times. Using only words can get boring, which is why emojis exist. Adding your own unique flair with emojis lets you express yourself through facial expressions and other different things. While many quality emojis exist, these are our top five:

The sleep emoji, also called the schleep emoji, can be used in a variety of ways. Someone boring you to death with their dry conversation? Drop a schleep emoji. Major media outlets disrespecting your favorite sports team or one of your favorite rappers? Drop a schleep emoji in the comments. Actually can’t stay awake anymore to conversate, no matter how hard you try? Drop a schleep emoji to let them know you’re going to be out like a light.

Love makes the world go round. Sending the heart emoji to people close to you, such as family, friends or a significant other can show them how much they truly mean to you. Sending heart emojis to your girlfriend or boyfriend is a great way to show your feelings through the phone. Word to Soulja Boy, it’s a way of sending a kiss through the phone that anyone can appreciate.
- ?
Feel pissed off or tired of dealing with someone’s nonsense? Someone or something in your life doing everything they can to inconvenience you? Drop a fat eye-roll emoji. The eye-roll can express how much you are done with a situation and make the person it’s sent to reevaluate the talk they’re talking.

The hunnit emoji is a staple in the emoji game. Used to show appreciation for someone holding it down for you or stamping your mark of approval on a post or text, the hunnit emoji is a great way of showing that you keep it real. Like many other great things in life, however, the hunnit emoji must be used in moderation.
