5 timely album releases

The past few weeks have turned out to be very exciting in terms of music featuring the likes of
Rich The Kid, Famous Dex, Lil Yachty and XXXTentancion. Whether it’s coming from diss tracks,
collaborations or records being set, lots of hype and controversy are surrounding the music scene as of
right now.

To start, Rich The Kid is set to drop his debut album entitled The World is Yours on March 30.

The album’s track list, which contains bangers such as “New Freezer,” “Plug Walk” and his recently
released Lil Uzi Vert diss “Dead Friends,” has already been released to the public. The Queens rapper has
been doing numbers as of recently, so his debut album is predicted to be a success.

With his newest single “Japan” blowing up, Famous Dex has a lot of hype surrounding his
upcoming album that is set to be released on April 6. Famous Dex has been making a name for himself
with hits like “Pick it Up” featuring A$AP Rocky. The Chicago rapper’s debut album entitled Dex Meets
Dexter should be one of the most memorable ones of the year given his recent growth in popularity.

According to Rich Forever Music rappers Famous Dex and Rich The Kid, Rich Forever 4 is nearing
its release date. After the rap group’s last project shocked the culture, fans are eagerly awaiting to
support their soon-to- be released project. The tape, featuring Animaniacs-inspired cover art, is expected
to drop sometime soon.

On March 9, the red-haired, Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty dropped his second studio album Lil Boat 2.

Despite the confidence and hype surrounding the album, the second installment of the Lil Boat series
met lots of mixed opinions and controversy upon its release. The album didn’t exactly live up to the
hype around it, but it’s still worth a listen. Feature artists such as Quavo, Offset, Trippie Redd and Lil
Pump make appearances on the album.

Coming back onto the music scene, XXXTentacion dropped an album entitled “?” on March 16. “?”
earned XXXtentacion his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. While in the middle of loads of
controversy, he released the singles “SAD!” and “changes.” Carrying “?” to the top of the charts, “SAD!”
quickly became popular in today’s culture.

This time of the year has been and will continue to be a prosperous time for the music industry
and the culture surrounding it. Be sure to keep up with these five releases because they are definitely in
contention for the top releases of this young year.
