SGA and SPA candidates

The Student Government Association and Student Programming Association have announced their candidates for the spring 2018 election that is set to take place online from March 18 through March 21.
For SGA, student supreme court justice Grant Henry and college of the arts and sciences senator Drake Thibodaux will run for president.
Emma Bourgeois, college of nursing and allied health senator, will run against current SGA vice president, Austin Wendt, for the role of vice president.
For SPA, Quynhlynnette Nguyen, SPA union activities committee chair, and Saurav Shrestha, SPA multicultural committee chair, will run for the title of SPA vice president.
Finally, Caroline Jacobi, SPA special events committee chair, will be running unopposed for SPA president.
